Glazed oak pool house in Sussex

« back to Swimming Pool Buildings gallery

The impressive wide spans involved in this oak framed pool house provided an exciting challenge for Oakmasters. The brief for this pool house focused on making the most of space and light to maximise the beauty of the building's surroundings. The raised tie beams in this project have been shifted higher than usual to push out the angle of the oak trusses. The result? Wider trusses, increasing space and creating an element of grandeur within the building. This is a fantastic example of the versatility of an oak framed building, which in this case provides stunning views from inside the pool house. To discover how Oakmasters achieved this result take a look at the case study.
