Skills and Experience

The main requirements of the work on offer are:

• To assist with manufacture of Oak Frame structures and other various projects here at our mill in Haywards Heath.
• To assist with assembly of our Oak Frame structures on client site. Many projects are local to the South-East but this is dependent on client location. We do work nationally, so a willingness to travel with the job from time to time would therefore be preferred.
• Must be able to work alone or as part a team of carpenters as required.
• Experience working with Oak Frames would be an advantage but not essential.
• A strong understanding of architectural plans is essential.
• Strong expertise in site carpentry is required.
• A natural flair for quality and eye for detail is a must.
• It is essential that you provide valid and up to date CIS certification.

Work is currently available on an ad hoc basis. If a successful relationship develops we are likely to be able to offer you regular ongoing work.

Payment is measured per hour and paid weekly in arrears. Hourly relate is negotiable based on experience and aptitude.
