Skills and Experience

The main requirements of the work on offer are:

• Experienced carpenter
• To take a leading role in the manufacture of Oak Frame structures including houses, extensions, garages and roof trusses here at our mill in Haywards Heath.
• Assembly of our Oak Frame structures at clients site if required. Many projects are local to the South-East but this is dependent on client location. We do work nationally, so a willingness to travel with the job from time to time would therefore be preferred.
• Must be able to lead others as part of a team of carpenters or sometimes work alone.
• Experience working with Oak Frames necessary.
• A strong understanding of architectural plans is essential.
• Extensive experience in primary fix site carpentry such as roof cutting would be an advantage.
• A natural flair for quality and an eye for detail is a must.

PAYE Salary will be paid weekly in arrears. Salary will be negotiated depending on skills, experience, and aptitude.
