Oakmasters in collaboration with Broadoak and other partners have worked with oak buildings for many years so we understand their quality, strengths and benefits.

We also appreciate that before embarking on an oak building development you need to be sure that it is right for you. That's why we offer a free design consultation service.

If oak is the right material for your project, we are confident that we can provide the best solution, however our free consultation carries absolutely no obligation - it is simply designed to help you make the right decisions.

Our process is quite comprehensive:

• You will receive a call from one of our experienced designers. They will initially discuss your ideas with you so they can understand as much as possible about your project and what you would like to achieve.
• The designer will carry out a survey of your site, collecting enough information to advise you on styles and planning/building regulations.
• The designer will then provide you with some options for the design of your building, and discuss with you which options and most suitable. This will enable the designer to help you put together a specification based on your individual requirements.
• We will then provide, if needed, an initial set of drawings based on your specification. We will also give you some budgetary costings.

There is no obligation to take the project any further at this stage, however if you would like to go ahead, upon your approval we will produce technical drawings that can be used for planning permission and construction.

You will be assigned a project manager who will work closely with you throughout the development to make sure you are happy with everything before construction begins, that everything runs smoothly during construction, and that the completed development is everything you imagined.

Architectural Services

From Start to finish, we will handle every stage of the development of your oak building.

After you have agreed to proceed with your oak building, we will arrange architectural services, to submit the drawings for planning approval.

They will use the latest in computer drawing technology and where necessary their artistic skills to produce the documentation that will help your project progress through planning with the minimum of fuss.

Once your planning application has been approved, we will then submit the necessary drawings and structural calculations for building regulation approval (should your project need them). We will of course keep you informed as to the progress of your application.
